LIVE REVIEW: TWENTY ONE PILOTS - GLASGOW OVO HYDRO - 05.05.2025

Twenty One Pilots delivered an energetic and immersive performance at Glasgow’s OVO Hydro arena as part of their Clancy World Tour. With a blend of their classic hits and some new material they put on a night of pure energy ensuring that they provided a memorable night for all.

The duo - Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun - captivated the audience from the first song right until the very end. The duo showcased their signature blend of alternative rock, hip-hop and electronic elements. Overcompensate beamed through the arena as the duo took to the main stage, signalling the start of what would turn out to be an incredible gig, the energy and atmosphere throughout the night between both the crowd and the duo was completely unmatched.

The arena erupted into a sing-a-long with the duo as they filled the room with their cheers and singing that lasted from start to finish. Tyler and Josh’s immersive stage presence and seamless transitions between each track kept the audience engaged throughout the night ensuring they played a variety of fan favourites including Heavydirtysoul, Ride and Stressed Out as well as throwing in some of their newer releases Vignette, Lavish and Paladin Strait.

It’s to no surprise that the duo made sure the audience got an incredible show as they ventured through the crowd and took to podiums in the middle as they performed some of their set including during Ride when Tyler brought a young fan onto the podium to help him sing the chorus of the song.

Towards the end of the show the encore delivered Jumpsuit, Midwest Indigo, Stressed Out and finally Trees which brought immense energy to end the night with both Tyler and Joseph propping themselves on top of the crowd in the middle for the duration of the song with confetti canons to bring the show to a spectacular end.

I think it’s safe to say that the band put on one well of a show.
